Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer in Dyersburg, TN, is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing processes and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes by applying continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing and production issues.
• Support the development and implementation of new products and processes, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct process simulations and root cause analysis to identify and implement process improvements and cost reductions.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards of workmanship and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement, and quality control methodologies.
• Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
