Manufacturing Engineer (Pcb/Embedded Controls)

What you will do:

As our Manufacturing Engineer, you will devise, implement, and continuously improve standardized manufacturing processes and equipment to meet organizational and customer requirements involving safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will leverage your talents, training, and experience to create the manufacturing processes which will ensure a quality product makes it to market. This position works at our New Hope, MN location.

The job:

Every day you will identify continuous improvement opportunities and prescribe innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges which may vary from completely manual operations to fully automated machinery used in circuit board, SMT, and through-hole assembly. You will research, design, and develop processes that will improve production flow and assembly methods. You will work collaboratively with other engineers and production staff who have complementary skills and training to maximize the potential benefit to the organization.

The skills you need:

To thrive in this job, you must have knowledge in mechanical design and Lean manufacturing along with key soft skills which include team collaboration, oral and written communication, organization, time management, and prioritization skills. A 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred with 1-2 years of experience.
