Manufacturing Engineer

Senior Manufacturing EngineerLaurel, MDSenior-level experience is required with manufacturing of mechanical systemsthat are interfaced with electronics. This experience is gained through 15+ years in positions that require at least an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, material science, or a related discipline.Expertise is required in at least two of the following areas:1) Vacuum systems,2) Cryogenics,3) Electronics packaging and interconnects,4) Custom electronics assemblies.Experience in these areas should span the early-stage market analysis/concept generation phase through at least small-scale production and quality control. Additionally, experience with managing supply chain concerns and/or managing government regulations (including export control, IP protection, etc.) is highly desired.Security Clearance:A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
