Roles and Responsibilities
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY
Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Be an active participant in the EHSS program by reporting all EHSS-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (ERT, Supervision, etc.).
Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases.
LMS/TWM UPDATES
Understand and edit LMS projects.
Understand and edit TWM set ups/auto ordering.
Trouble shoot issues in area.
Understand lot and wafer level attributes.
Perform duties to become familiar with the TW software applications.
Be responsible for data management in software systems that support Fab TW automation including but not limited to, crafting templates, settings, values, and standards in TW critical programs (e.g. LMS, TWM, etc.).
Supervise and update LMS/TWM and ensure TW flows are accurate.
Build and modify LMS Stocker pull projects to facilitate automated TW recycle and downgrading.
Assist process owners with creation and review of ECNs for NPW Management.
Release and address LMS holds.
GCP PROCESS AND APPROVAL
GCP follow-up.
Understand TW traveler set up and flow.
Strong manufacturing process knowledge.
BWS ERROR RECOVERY/LOT DISPOSITION
Check wafer level attributes.
Pull job error recovery.
Clear pending sort flags.
Check quals OID and advise areas.
Batch disposition aborted TW lots on bare wafer stockers.
WORLDWIDE NPW CST SUPPORT
Attend all WW CST meetings.
Contribute in sharing BKM, Efficiencies, etc with sister sites.
Participate and facilitate in all monthly area and global Cost Meetings to help identify and align site cost goals, cost project progress and needs.
Assist in coordination of efforts between all 300mm sites, Central Teams, KEG, R&D - must be proactive in driving projects across all sites.
SITE WIDE NPW COST REDUCTION ENGINEER
Weekly TW Report generation.
Hold regular meetings with process areas to help facilitate TW Reduction actions.
Monitor area spending trends, budgets, and progress to help identify CR opportunities.
Work with the ACE's to identify, develop and define aggressive area cost reduction goals, metrics, and strategy.
Initiate, through MTV areas, new cost savings projects.
Work with areas to develop bottoms-up TW budget.
Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
