We are looking for a talented Engineering Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing and Machining support for our Engine Division in Jamestown, NY
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Manages the activities for a department including budgeting, resource planning, project management activities, and peer reviews for the purchase, and implementation of manufacturing integrated equipment, systems, and processes.
Manages, coaches, and develops direct and indirect team members. Leads the process of working with outside suppliers.
Manages personnel in the Manufacturing Engineering Function related to departmental activities and performance standards.
Leads the development of departmental plans and deliverables.
Provides technical consultation, leadership, and advice to managers, manufacturing personnel and other functions.
Coaches and motivates direct and indirect team members, delegates work assignments, and leads change.
Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives including capital, daily operations, and organization structure.
Provides technical inputs and direction for Manufacturing.
Leads the communications with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Education, Licenses, Certifications
A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related bachelor degree or higher, required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Additional Information
Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory and leadership experience, required.
Should poses extensive Mechanical and Controls Engineering experience.
Should have extensive experience in manufacturing camshafts, induction heat treatment, machining process setup and selection.
CAPEX - new equipment and process implementation and manufacturing Project Management.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $109,600-164,400.00. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
