  1. Reviews and interprets product design drawings and develops work instructions and process procedures to enable operational personnel to produce products in accordance with design specifications.

2.Develops process routings and labor standards for use in proposal cost estimating and shop floor control scheduling requirements.

3.Prepares labor, material, tooling and equipment cost estimates for proposals. 4. Develops and implements production process layouts and production readiness plans.

5.Develops capital equipment specifications and supports capital equipment justification, installation and start-up.

6.Designs tooling and fixturing for use in the production and inspection of company products.

7.Implements statistical process control and conducts process capability studies on critical processes.

8.Participates in design reviews to ensure the manufacturability of proposed designs.

9.Conducts process audits and time studies of existing processes for optimization and elimination of waste.



  1. Conducts periodic Kaizen events

  2. Creates MPs, DCNs, and SWIs for new and sustaining products, working with Doc Control and the Tech Writers to develop and implement into production.

  3. Develops PHA (process hazard analysis) for required process' in the production facility.

  4. Utilize Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen processes to improve the waste and efficiency of the production cells and process'.


  • B.S. Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with three (3) years minimum (preferred) in a manufacturing environment

  • Solid Works / Auto Cad experience required

  • Strong problem solving skills required.

  • Automation programming experience a plus

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

VIEW JOBS 5/12/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-08-10T00:00 IT Application Analyst, Manufacturing Operations The candidate will be the lead IT Application Analyst for the Hollister location and a member of a cross-functional team to implement Paperless Manufacturing and Integration utilizing company's Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Responsibilities and duties are primarily technical in nature with core activities centered on process implementation and data analytics. Essential Functions: * Technical application configuration, administration, and support to implement Paperless Manufacturing in Manufacturing Execution System (Aegis Factory Logix). * Work with cross functional teams to implement plans and strategies for expanding paperless manufacturing. * Contribute the development of a project rollout plan and execute assigned tasks for Hollister, CA site. * Provide expert input to shape the scope of work, schedule requirements, program budget and data items. * Coordinate changes, upgrades, and enhancements for application systems and infrastructure with IT service owners. * Develop and maintain an effective partnership with the application vendor to ensure fixes and enhancements needed by PacSci EMC are given proper attention/priority. * Coordinate and maintain alignment with Program Manger located at the Chandler, AZ facility. * Prepare and present HL portion of program review reports for Management. * Lead efforts to implement Aegis process improvements to increase the process capability or lower the risk of defects produced by the manufacturing cells. * Perform time studies and develop standard work documentation to dictate the process flow of Aegis related activities. * Provide on-the-job Aegis training for operations personnel. * Incorporate and build policies and procedures with the team to support paperless initiative. * Maintain positive communication and relationships with all company functional areas to ensure program goals are met. * Track and manage anticipated percentage of lines converted and the associated annualized revenue. * Track metrics such as: Cost of Poor Quality of Aegis process conversion, accuracy of current system to Aegis conversion. * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Degree with experience implementing, configuring, and supporting applications used to provide electronic shop floor instructions or other adjacent manufacturing-related systems. * 5+ years of hi-level technical application support experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an in the aerospace/defense industry.
