Job Description:


Designs, develops and test and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods. Provides technical support, performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.

Manages all aspects of assigned engineering projects. Manages project budgets, including outside suppliers and contractors. Leads new equipment purchase, installation/implementation and training team members.

Represents manufacturing on cross functional teams. Performs all other duties as assigned.


Requires a Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Requires knowledge of or experience in the following:

Lean Manufacturing, Kaziens and Continuous Improvement; Computer Skills including Microsoft Office Suite; 3D design software such as AutoCAD and ProE, with the ability to interpret, design and modify tooling and machine layout drawing. Requires travel to other plant locations in Texas, North Carolina and Taiwan up to 25% of the time.

Managing new launch programs from development through Production</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all responsibility.</li> <li> Develop full-scale project plans and implement all project tasks based on customer milestone.</li> <li> Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.</li> <li> Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.</li> <li> Coordinate internal resources and tier2 Suppliers/vendors for a flawless execution of projects.</li> <li> Perform risk management to minimize project risks.</li> <li> Review drawing and propose drawing issues, and will participate in the design and testing phases.</li> <li> Control Prototype build schedule until delivery to the customer.</li> <li> Write reports on the project for management review and escalate to management as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>3.
