Key Accountabilities

Focuses on designing, developing and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient and economical mass production of goods including designing arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout. This profile also covers Welding Specialists, being overall responsible for welding system management and optimization, inclusive of adjacent key accountabilities.

• Provides input to the design of the sequence of production operations

• Drafts procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory conditions

• Provides input to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques

• Initiates, identifies and conducts product cost improvement activities across the organization

• Provides input to supply chain development and project teams to ensure product quality and cost is met

• Works with internal stake holders to optimize product design for manufacturability and reduce logistic cost

• Ensures that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations

• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company's operational activities
