What Will You Do?
You will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of manufacturing processes. Work closely with the Maintenance department as required to support continuous improvement and automation within the manufacturing environment.
Work closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Design and R&D in the development of new products to leverage automation opportunities and simplification in manufacturing. Research, develop and assist with the implementation of manufacturing processes that promote safety, ergonomics, quality and manufacturing efficiency resulting in lower total costs.
What Do You Need?
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience, Required
6 months in a manufacturing or engineering position, Required
Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Theory of Constraints)
Experience with Ergonomics and Robotics/Automation highly preferred.
