Description:

Manufacturing Engineer will be managing the manufacturing projects coming the Anaheim location that is primarily and high production and R&D Machining center for the company. Will Create detailed manufacturing work instructions for Machinists.

Develop process improvements/best practices for machining. Work with design engineering team to provide input on manufacturing and machining processes, pushback on dimension or tolerances within blueprints to ensure machining and manufacturing done correctly first time. Will be Supporting production floor with R&D Machinists, CNC Programmers, Set-Up and Operators on jobs going through production floor.

Create CAD drawings in SolidWorks for tooling and various products. Will work with Quality team, CMM Programmers, to ensure that inspection protocols meet requirements of the Project/Job they are managing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have proficiency and high experience with GD&T, tight tolerances for precision machining and precision tools, (+/- 0.001); expertise with dimensions

Must Have 7+ years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer; 5+ years within a machining environment for manufacturing (aerospace or defense industry strongly preferred)

Must Have direct experience managing and executing effective communication with Machinists, Design Engineers, customers, Quality, and internal partners to manage jobs and meet requirements
