Manufacturing Engineer

Description:

• This position requires the application of mature engineering principles and knowledge in planning, evaluating and conducting projects that involve the design, development and testing of more complicated processes & methods of larger projects. • Plans, manages and conducts Engineering projects, i.e. outlines project requirements, constraints, objectives, methods and equipment used. • Schedules and assigns tasks and supervises progress, at times serving as a team leader. • Makes independent studies, analyses, interpretations and conclusions. • Coordinates efforts at all levels with other operating or engineering disciplines to facilitate participation of appropriate staff in project completion. • Recommendation or responsibility for selection, training, performance management and retention of more junior engineers, technicians or non-professional staff. • Solves problems by modifying existing established guidelines, devising new approaches, applying existing criteria in new manners and drawing conclusions from comparative studies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering • 8-10 years relevant experience in a manufacturing specialization role. • Basic concept of design for assembly & test. • Understanding of basic principles, mechanical / electrical. • Basic understanding of GD&T. • Basic skills/training in presentation, report writing. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent written English skills. • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving. • Organizational Skills.
