Manufacturing Engineer (Medical Devices)

Manufacturing Engineering opportunity in San Diego (Medical Devices)

Description:

• Support new product development programs and sustaining process improvement efforts for a leading orthopedic manufacturer

• Design and developing manufacturing procedures, work instructions, tooling, and fixtures that promote product quality, process efficiency, and operator safety

• Generate and modify manufacturing documentation assuring manufacturing processes and related documentation follow established policies and procedures

• Implement process improvements, troubleshoot equipment, and addressing operator inquiries.

• Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines

Skills:

process design, iq oq, process validation, test protocol, equipment selection

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working in accordance to ISO 13485
• Experience working with ortho surgical implants and instruments is a plus
