Qualified candidates will have commercial baking experience, which may require skill sets including operation of bread, bun/roll, and/or muffin production with a focus on dough mixing and developing, dividing, and/or oven operation. May assist in all areas of production; perform duties in accordance with established procedures; perform operator maintenance and sanitation activities and employ appropriate 6S principles; other duties as assigned by supervisor. Assignments including but not limited to: Stacks and removes pans to/from conveyor belts, Removes bread/baskets from conveyor and places on racks, Cleans area, dumps trash and takes bins to dumpster Various Sanitation assignments including: Cleans floors, lights, windows, ceilings, rest rooms, break rooms, product racks, equipment, and grounds in various areas of plant, Disassembles and reassembles machinery Various Shipping assignments including: Order selection, stacking full bread baskets 15 baskets high, loading/unloading trailers

As the Production Manager at our ice cream plant, you'll be responsible for orchestrating all aspects of the production process to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality ice cream products. Your role will involve overseeing production schedules, managing inventory levels, optimizing equipment utilization, and maintaining adherence to quality and safety standards. You'll lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations and consistent product quality. Additionally, you'll collaborate with other departments such as procurement, quality assurance, and distribution to streamline processes, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our ice cream delights customers and maintains our reputation for excellence in the market.

  • Address production challenges promptly and implement effective solutions.

  • Encourage a proactive problem-solving approach within the production team.

What we are searching for

  • Three (3) or more years of leadership experience in a production environment.

  • Two (2) or more years working with Lean Manufacturing principles.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:

  • Strong production background - the ability to turn data into action.

  • Ability to manage and develop employees.

  • Ability to interface with regulatory agencies.

  • Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - and PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
