Manufacturing Associate

Job Description:

Assembles small & medium components to build servers and other compute assemblies per customer specifications. Responsible for assembly of servers, blades, storage, and sub-assemblies. Work is varied, complex, and fast paced. Verify proper components are received per order pick list prior to build. Scan all components into the manufacturing shop floor system to ensure proper parts and inventory tracking. Use online methods and work instructions to assemble per customer specification. Responsible for maintaining tools and a safe & clean work area. Responsible for maintaining proper dress code as described and maintaining acceptable attendance levels per attendance policy. Responsible for following all rules and regulations of the facilities as described during new hire orientation.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Must be familiar with using different computer applications and be able to navigate simple software.

  • Position requires good manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

  • Must have the ability to operate manual and power hand tools.

  • Experience with pallet jack a plus.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively over an 8hr period while standing and bending.

Work History & Education:

  • Must have minimum 1 year work history.

  • Relevant work history preferred but is not required for this position.

  • A high school degree is required for this position.

  • Steel toe overshoes may be provided and their use or that of other personal protective equipment is required when utilizing certain equipment.

Conditions:

  • Working conditions are typical for a manufacturing environment.

  • The ability to work standing up &/or bending or stooping repetitively for 8 hrs is required.

  • Associates must be able to stand the entire shift. Parking is available on site.

  • Our facility is an 8x5 operation with occasional overtime, based on customer demand. Summary:
  • The HPEE Chippewa Falls Manufacturing Operations Team builds servers, racked solutions, and integrated solutions. In general, we utilize contingent headcount in several areas including: inventory control, server assembly, server test, server pack, rack assembly, rack test, rack pack, system integration, test, and shipment.

  • The Chippewa Falls MFG Facility currently has 1 shift, working 5x8, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required, typically 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, but other hours/days may be required.

The TTM Engineering Internship Program is geared toward conscientious Engineering juniors who are going into their senior year of college. Student must also be in good academic standing. * Pursuing an Engineering degree in any of the following majors: * Mechanical * Electrical * Material Science * Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office) * Good math and communication skills * Demonstrated leadership ability. Energetic & self-motivating. * Able to meet deadlines Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
