Manufacturing Associate Soldering



Summary:

Manufacture printed circuit board assemblies to specification in a timely manner

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • TH and SMT Soldering of electronic components including resistors, capacitors, connectors, IC's, switches, crystals, using no-clean and organic flux and both lead and lead-free solder at a IPC Class II and Class III levels
  • Ground Plane Soldering
  • Touch-up (remove bridges, etc.)
  • Basic Mechanical Assembly
  • De-tabbing of PCBAs
  • Follow process documents and workflow instructions
  • Inspect and Quality Check own work/work of others
  • Minor to complex component and wire modifications
  • Position requires flexibility to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
  • Follow process documents and workflow instructions
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 2 years soldering PCBAs at an IPC Class Level (I, II, III)
  • Current or prior certification in IPC 610 and J-STD
  • Solid understanding of basic electronic Component Identification
  • Solid understanding of Board Handling (PCBA)

Preferred

  • Experience soldering lead-free components
  • Fine Pitch Soldering (less than 0.625mm)
  • Experience with IPC Class III Soldering
  • Skills to perform minor component and wire modification.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Work with extremely small and/or fragile components and tools for extended periods of time
  • Read and follow complicated drawing and documentation
  • Normal Color Vision

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Required

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

Preferred

  • IPC 610 or J-STD Certification

Soldering Test at client site required.

Pay $13 to $18 D.o.E. and qualifications

Day shift 6:35am 3pm

Key Responsibilities Include * Generates budgets and financial models that incorporate strategic business plan objectives and incorporates appropriate assumptions. * Performs analysis that aids in the decision making process and helps improve profitability and understanding of cost drivers and opportunities. * Participates in the strategic and business planning process from a financial perspective for all NIKE business planning dates and gates e.g. CSR, RTP/AOP and Budget * Prepares and distributes timely and insightful financial analysis, reporting and visualization of pertinent information to determine progress against strategic plan, budget, forecast, and to support external financial decisions * Actively interprets and reviews financial results with business managers, including trends/issues and opportunities, to drive actionable responses * Performs analysis to evaluate new business opportunities, which include scenario and investment analysis * Monitors monthly progress against budgets/targets and works with managers to ensure accountability * Participates in functional discussions and initiatives across departments and may provide input into business unit planning * Develops internal and/or external partnerships that leverage resources and improve business unit speed and responsiveness * Ensure management and business partners are educated on the use and interpretation of financial reports and metrics and advise on the financial implications of business decisions Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field; MBA and/or investment banking / consulting experience is preferred * 6+ years' experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting, and/or budgeting * Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company or national public accounting firm is a plus * Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and to run financial models * Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills while being independent and resourceful * High accuracy and attention to detail * Experience in effectively working with senior leadership * Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook * Experience with SAP (BW, BPC) and Tableau is preferred * Self-starter that anticipates problems, identifies opportunities, and provides creative solutions * Demonstrated philosophy of continuous improvement * Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic business along with the passion and energy to drive results * Ability to pass a 7-year background check NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
