Manufacturing Associate Soldering



Summary:

Manufacture printed circuit board assemblies to specification in a timely manner

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • TH and SMT Soldering of electronic components including resistors, capacitors, connectors, IC's, switches, crystals, using no-clean and organic flux and both lead and lead-free solder at a IPC Class II and Class III levels
  • Ground Plane Soldering
  • Touch-up (remove bridges, etc.)
  • Basic Mechanical Assembly
  • De-tabbing of PCBAs
  • Follow process documents and workflow instructions
  • Inspect and Quality Check own work/work of others
  • Minor to complex component and wire modifications
  • Position requires flexibility to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
  • Follow process documents and workflow instructions
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 2 years soldering PCBAs at an IPC Class Level (I, II, III)
  • Current or prior certification in IPC 610 and J-STD
  • Solid understanding of basic electronic Component Identification
  • Solid understanding of Board Handling (PCBA)

Preferred

  • Experience soldering lead-free components
  • Fine Pitch Soldering (less than 0.625mm)
  • Experience with IPC Class III Soldering
  • Skills to perform minor component and wire modification.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Work with extremely small and/or fragile components and tools for extended periods of time
  • Read and follow complicated drawing and documentation
  • Normal Color Vision

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Required

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

Preferred

  • IPC 610 or J-STD Certification

Soldering Test at client site required.

Pay $13 to $18 D.o.E. and qualifications

Day shift 6:35am 3pm

We are looking for a strong Solutions Architect to join our team to evolve our enterprise manufacturing platforms. As a Solutions Architect focused in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), you will be responsible for taking on various technical roles on projects aimed at delivering IT solutions to the manufacturing industry. Here's a day in the life: * Assess complex technical environments and define requirements for integration of new solutions, maintenance and optimization of systems * Leads project implementations often involving multiple internal and external constituents * Leads the process to design, develop and implement IT solutions. Provides support for applications, including ongoing monitoring and continuous process and application improvement. * Design and develop standard solutions for use across multiple projects (libraries, controls, applications, tools) * In conjunction with program management, provide detailed, solutions for standards across multiple technologies * Walk business partners through detailed presentations of different technology stacks, how they apply to a given project, and the pros and cons of the options in relation to the business partner needs * Develop documentation and provide orientation and training to users (including IT) for system functionality. * Assist in developing IT standards, financial estimates, cost-benefit analysis, budget and cost control, strategic and disaster recovery planning, documentation, and development and implementation of general IT procedures. * Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, supervisors, strategic partners and the general public * Demonstrate strategic, intellectually curious thinker with focus on team outcomes * Communicate effectively; excellent verbal and written communication skills * Collaborate in a team environment while exercising independent judgment and initiative * Demonstrate a professional image with ability to form strong partner relationships across functional teams * Work under pressure, meet deadlines, be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to work independently with little supervision * Attendance at multi-day off-site training sessions, weekend and evening work, and response to after-hours emergency calls, may be required. * Mentor more junior developers * Perform other duties as assigned Skills you'll need: Innovative, highly technical professional with demonstrated experience and success in full life cycle software development projects.
