Manufacturing Associate

Kelly Services is now seeking individuals with a manufacturing background to join the team-oriented environment of one of our biggest biomedical manufacturing clients. This is a foot in the door with a great company!

The Basics


$18.50/hr, time and a half pay for overtime


10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. with OT on Saturdays as needed

Hire Type:

Contract to potential hire

Job Description

This position requires assisting in the setup and operating of the foil wrapping machine, corrugated box case-packer, printers, and related packaging equipment. Team cooperation is part of daily activities. The Manufacturing Associate will follow detailed procedures and batch-record instructions.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Loading boxes onto skids,

applying labels to boxes,

move skids with a pallet jack,

filling out tickets, labels, or other forms of documentation.

Pushing large racks of product in dryer corridor,

unloading product from the dryer,

turning on and off drying machines,

recording production information on paper documents and on computer.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Excel & Word Experience (Basic data input /reporting)

1-2 years of experience with setup and operating of foil wrapping machine, corrugated box case-packer, printers, and related packaging equipment.

Medical Packaging Experience, Machine Operation, Manufacturing is needed for this role.

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds consistently, stand/walk/move

Ability to read prints and graphs

Basics math and computer skills

Ability to understand and adhere to policies and procedures

Good verbal communication skills

Ability and desire to work in a team-orientated environment

Ability to identify production or quality issues

Medical device experience is a plus

Detail-oriented, quality conscious, and an aptitude for maintaining records
