Work Schedule: Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime, Hours and shifts are subject to change.

Shift 1B :Thursday - Saturday/every other Wednesday 5:00am-5:00pm

Where you come in:

  • You will be responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line.

  • You will follow pre-established guidelines and procedures with minimal choice as to method of performance of the work.

  • You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform

  • You will operate hand tools, or production equipment

  • You will assemble products or sub-assemble according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams

  • Able to act as a trainer

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Your assignments will be moderately complex in nature where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.

  • You have obtained a broad understanding and knowledge of the job to perform a wide range of tasks.

  • You can apply job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks.

  • Your performance of work is in accordance with standard practice, which enables you to escalate issues only for questionable cases to the supervisor.

  • You manage sharing information exchanges between different levels of employees with diplomacy and tact.

  • You function daily work with little instruction and only require general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

  • Your decision making is consistently made with accuracy, as errors may cause some serious delay, waste of materials or loss of time due to reworking or checking revised output.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent

Language Skills:

Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Examples of English language proficiency may include (but are not limited to): ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to verbally communicate with leadership, employees, and auditors; ability to comprehend spoken language.

Physical Demands:

Employees in this position may be required to perform the following physical activities: standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time; frequent use of the hands, fingers, wrist, and greater arm to handle small materials, tools, boxes, and trays; lifting and carrying objects up to 50Ibs; occasional overhead reaches and lifts; occasional lifts and reaches below the knee; occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects with moderate forces; occasional crouching/kneeling, twisting, and squatting movements.

Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to the following environmental conditions while performing this job: work near moving parts, work with chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, exposure to intense light and/or intermittent light, fast-paced work, and elevated noise levels.
