M2 Technologies is looking for an experienced manufacturing designer with demonstrated skill in using the latest versions of Autodesk design tools. Autodesk Inventor & Vault experience preferred, AutoCAD Electrical, Mechanical, Fusion or HSM a plus. The Applications Engineer will be responsible for assisting clients with the successful implementation of design tools and best practices, providing training and technical support. Successful candidates will also be able to "talk the talk" and deliver compelling product demonstrations that articulate the value and benefits of technologies for customers and prospective clients.

  • Support the success of the M2 sales team by providing technical presentations and educational sessions on industry trends

  • Perform in-depth assessments to investigate, uncover and understand a customer's business issues

  • Be able to demonstrate, map / integrate disparate technologies to solve design workflow inefficiencies

  • Identify and propose options for improvement or resolution of customer issues and relate those solutions directly to the customer's business goals / issues

  • Develop technical proposals for implementation of solutions in conjunction with Business Development & Consulting Services teams

  • Deliver engaging, professional live and online product demonstrations to customers

  • Provide Technical Support to help customers with technical issues

  • Deliver training classes at one of our Autodesk Training Centers (ATC) or at client sites

  • Provide a wide range of consulting services to support our clients delivery process

  • Provide feedback and recommendations post service delivery

  • Grow and maintain respected, long-term, trusted advisor relationships with customers and other members of the M2 team involved with the engagement

Required Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated and recent direct experience with the process, workflow and use of Autodesk design and analysis software for manufacturing

  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor & Vault

  • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical, Mechanical, HMS or Fusion a plus

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks a plus

As a Senior Power Applications Engineer in the North America's Central Application group you will be responsible for providing front line technical support, by phone and email, for Analog Devices semiconductor power products and solutions. You will work directly with our customers, field sales, and distribution teams to provide product selection, schematic reviews, design in, and other technical support. Additional responsibilities include: on site customer technical product trainings, designing/trouble shooting power supply designs, writing technical articles and application notes. Job Requirements: * BSEE or MSEE with 7+ years of board level power supply design experience including: Circuit design, simulation, printed circuit board layout, component placement and selection, troubleshooting techniques using lab test equipment. * Experience with multiple power supply topologies including: buck, boost, buck-boost, SEPIC, and Flyback * Experience using simulation and design tools including: LTspice, Cadence/Orcad, Allegro, PADS * Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: rf/microwave, high speed A/D and D/A converters, wireless communications, MEMS, healthcare, energy * Excellent communications and presentation skills For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
