The Manufacturing Analyst at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for designing scalable and secure IT solutions, integrating AI-ML and robotics into manufacturing processes, and enabling digital transformation to achieve the goals of industry 4.0 and smart factory concepts.

This position is part of the Operations and Enterprise Information Systems located in Chaska, MN, or we may consider candidates in Miami, FL, as an alternate location and will be Hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Manufacturing and Item Master business applications team and report to the Senior Manager of business applications responsible for North America Manufacturing and item master support. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development and execution of technology roadmaps for digital manufacturing systems, with a key focus on delivering digital tools and solutions to increase productivity and efficiency

• Work closely with multiple functions to support establishing a strong governance model for digital initiatives within manufacturing plants

• Assist in evaluating the existing IT infrastructure and contribute to defining the target architecture that supports the strategic goals of the digital transformation initiative

• Participate in the internal strategy for Industry 4.0 adoption across the organization by working closely with senior members of the team.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices related to Industry 4.0, IoT, and digital manufacturing, and apply that knowledge to enhance the organization's digital transformation efforts

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 2+ years of experience in the design and implementation of predictive analytics or industry 4.0 solutions OR Master's degree in a related field with 0+ years of experience.

• Experience with database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL)

• Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (such as Power BI, SQL Server, OBI, etc.)

• Up to 10% travel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• AI/ML development in Python

• RPA development in UiPath

• Familiarity with accessing and synthesizing data from a data warehouse Snowflake

• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and smart factory principles, and a willingness to learn and grow in these areas
