Manual Machinist

Pay: $22-24/hr.

1st Shift: 6am to 4:30pm (Mon-Fri) Saturday OT as required

Summary: Machine parts off of shop drawings. Provide high quality parts in an efficient manner.

Requirements:

• Ability to set up and run manual Lathes, Mills, and Drill Presses working off shop drawings
• Must be able to read and interpret shop machining drawings
• Ability to hold tolerances to within .0005" as required
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work 10 hours a day and Saturday's as required

Job Duties:

• Set up and run manual Lathes, Mills, and Drill Presses working off shop drawings
• Read and interpret shop drawings
• Consistently produce high quality and accurate parts
• Working safely in a heavy industrial environment
• Be at work and on time every day
