Manual Machinist

Adam Search Group has a great opportunity for a client of ours in the Mentor Ohio area that is looking to hire a manual machinist for their team.  In this role, you'll set up, adjust, and operate a variety of machine tools (including manual lathes, milling machines, boring machines, and grinders) to perform machining operations for engine parts and components.  

What they are looking for you to do:

• Read blueprints or job orders for product specifications.
• Determine the sequence of operations.
• Use a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work.
• Grind and adapt tooling and attachments for special work requirements.
• Accurately account for materials per the Bill of Material and ensure that those materials are issued properly to the job.
