Join our Camboro Veterinary Hospital in Edinboro PA, just a short distance from beautiful Lake Erie in Northwest PA. We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Managing Veterinarian/Medical Director to lead our practice. Joint Ownership is an option for those interested but not a requirement.

As Managing Veterinarian/Medical Director you will be responsible for providing excellent medical leadership, fostering a collaborative work environment, managing Associate veterinarians and ensuring compliance with veterinary regulations. You'll also spearhead the advancement of medical practices by managing surgical and medical cases, maintaining medical protocols and the continuous education and licensure of our veterinary team.

As a leader the Managing Veterinarian/Medical Director will take part in the recruiting and interview process for Veterinarians and general team members. The Managing Veterinarian/Medical Director will monitor other Veterinarians' performance, prepare their work schedules and develop compliance protocols. The Managing Veterinarian/Medical Director will direct training of all medical staff including mentorship of new graduates.

Collaborating with the Hospital Manager, you'll oversee the financial performance of the hospital, including budget preparation, revenue management, and strategic planning. Monitoring key financial reports will be essential to drive the success of our practice.

As a part of a dynamic team of 4 doctors and a robust support team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving practice growth and community engagement. Partnering with the Hospital Manager, you'll implement innovative strategies to enhance client service, marketing initiatives and overall practice success.

Camboro Veterinary Hospital is located in Edinboro, PA 15 miles south of Erie, PA. As home to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, it is a small college town, as well as a resort community.

Edinboro Lake is in the heart of the town giving way to boating, kayaking and fishing recreation. We are also a short distance (only 90 minutes) to Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, Ohio, and Buffalo NY.

Erie offers Presque Isle State Park, a peninsula with beaches and trails that curves around Presque Isle Bay. Next to the State Park is Waldameer Park & Water World that offers roller coasters and waterslides.
