Responsibilities:

Defines, scopes, manages and leads the implementation of specific website promotional projects from initial concept through to launch and post-launch assessment for multiple markets. Responsible for concept, feature set, schedule, documentation, maintenance and quality of large and small and projects. This dynamic role requires flexible creativity in accomplishing business objectives. Develop & execute HAL.com Promotions programs content, imagery, QA and special projects for all markets served by www.hollandamerica.com. Special projects as assigned.

  • Manage the team developing and execute all website promotions on a timely basis, based on project briefs and weekly website promotions plan

  • Create, manage and maintain Ace tickets, creative project briefs and production schedules with a focus on accuracy, completeness and clarity.

  • Ability to direct the building of all HAL.com promotional assets and ensuring their accuracy in all markets

  • Route all project materials and creative assets to appropriate stakeholders/legal for timely approval.

  • QA/Test during all phases of the project. Promptly verify projects on production after launch.

  • Assist with image selects, copy and XHTML and JSON formatting, copy editing, layout refinements and image editing.

  • Implement initiatives across HAL & SBN brands, requiring slightly different solutions, development and/or approval cycles.

  • Ability to track and report on promotions related analytics

  • Seek and retain knowledge regarding multiple, connected internal systems and how changes to one system may affect associated data/teams.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a web producer, project manager in a large-scale, fast-paced agency, marketing, or in-house creative services environment

  • BA in business, marketing, communications, computer science, graphic design or related field preferred

  • Highly motivated, well organized, able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.

  • Comfortable in an extremely dynamic environment, managing frequently changing priorities with composure and professionalism.

  • Experience working with large, cross-functional teams in the development of highly complex web applications and products.

  • Familiarity with QA, bug and issue tracking systems.

  • Exceptional detail orientation

  • Ability to get things done through existing production processes, as well as the vision/initiative to help establish new processes and improve existing ones as needed.

  • The ability to communicate fluently in both conceptual and technical realms

  • In-depth knowledge of project management and graphic design. PMP certification an asset.

  • Ability to create/maintain wireframes for projects as needed, and serve as a 'first-call' design resource.

  • Knowledge and ability to manage external design resources effectively

  • Intermediate knowledge of JSON, XHTML, CSS, Photoshop, Visio and MS Office.

  • Experience using, managing and manipulating content management systems for publishing to the web (experience with multiple Content Management systems a plus).

Partner with internal and external resources (information architects, project managers, developers, designers and business analysts) to produce functional/technical requirements and specifications. 3.Create, manage and maintain creative project briefs and production schedules with a focus on accuracy, completeness and clarity. 4.Manage internal and external production teams to the brief and schedule through the project lifecycle. 5.Review HAL.com analytics for accuracy and insights on how to optimize the user experience and merchandise more effectively. 6.Proactively manage and own project development, serving as representative to internal stakeholders from all parts of the business.
