Pine Bush Equine Service + Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Equine Managing Veterinarian who will eagerly lead the team to deliver exceptional client service and high-quality medicine to patients. PBES + VH serves a diverse clientele from Standardbred racing to Prix St. Georges dressage and reining to Grand Prix jumpers as well as large breeding farms to beloved back yard horses.

Our hospital includes a 13-stall barn with climate-controlled treatment areas, and we perform over 250 elective surgeries a year. Our advanced diagnostics include nuclear scintigraphy, video endoscopy, gastroscopy, dynamic endoscopy, digital radiography, ultrasonography along with the most up to date treatment modalities including IRAP, ProStride, PRP, laser therapy, and shockwave therapy.

Located in Orange County, New York, part of the acclaimed Hudson Valley and designated as a National Heritage Area, the valley is steeped in history, natural beauty, culture, and has a blossoming food and farmer's market scene, all while still being within 60 miles of exciting mid-town Manhattan. Responsibilities

The Managing DVM is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing, and mentoring associate veterinarians and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Managing DVM is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine is delivered.

In partnership with the Practice Manager, the Managing DVM is accountable for the financial performance of the hospital. This individual will build upon our hospital's current strengths, while elevating our services and encouraging new business ideas. In addition, the Practice Manager and Managing DVM are responsible for leading practice culture & mentorship, directing staff and the overall management of the practice, in collaboration with NVA Divisional Leadership.
