As our new Managing Engineering Consultant, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing innovative and sustainable site solutions to an international client base.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
Development and implementation of comprehensive site investigations to characterize contaminants in sediments, soil, air, surface water, and groundwater.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and application to real-world situations.
Design, implementation, and management (including operation, maintenance, and monitoring) of various environmental remediation systems (e.g., soil vapor extraction (SVE), enhanced in-situ bioremediation (EISB), in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), permeable reactive barriers (PRB), and groundwater extraction and treatment).
Preparation and evaluation of proposals and remedial cost estimates.
Management of project budgets and client communications.
Oversight of site remedial activities and management of subcontractors and field teams.
Training/mentoring of Consultant and Senior Consultant-level staff.
Preparation and editing of technical and regulatory reports.
For this role, the qualifications we seek are:
B.S./B.E., M.S./M.E., or Ph.D. in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or other engineering discipline.
At least 8 years of experience with site characterization/remediation.
Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, Brownfields and Voluntary regulatory programs, including local state regulatory programs.
Knowledge of emerging contaminants, ESG, product stewardship and safety, health and safety, PSM, and international regulations is a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification and/or NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) certification is preferred.
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is required.
