As part of the Editorial team, youll be responsible for the following activities:

  • Demonstrating extraordinary attention to detail and apply this across a variety of content formats
  • Possessing a strong command of the English language which you utilize to add quality to all client deliverables
  • Managing a range of internal client expectations, demonstrating multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Being passionate about editorial best practice and lead by example to upskill the wider team

Our Managing Editors are assigned to one or more therapeutic account teams and handle all editorial duties, including medical editing, copy editing, proofreading, fact-checking, PowerPoint slide editing, EndNote bibliography generation, and creating and maintaining account style guides.

Managing Editors manage the daily editorial workload of assigned accounts (publication plans encompassing journal articles, abstracts, posters, supplements, slides, etc.) They also:

  • Manage timelines for workload across several accounts and prioritize work as necessary to meet multiple objectives
  • Liaise with internal team members, medical writers, and medical team members to ensure editorial integrity and adherence to GPP
  • Prepare editorial templates and client-specific style guides for assigned teams
  • Update EndNote databases as needed in support of Information Services

What youll bring:

  • Aptitude for the English language and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to perform all duties on-line, as OPEN Health is a paperless company
  • >2 years of experience in an editorial position in a medical communications company
  • Proven project management, time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing challenges, issues, and priorities with the ability to troubleshoot and set clear expectations
  • Enthusiastic, team player, self-motivated attitude and demeanor
  • Proficiency in Office programs including MS Word and PowerPoint. EndNote experience is a plus!

As the Digital Content Publisher and Editor, you will lead content production through final publishing on DeloitteDigital.com (DD.com). This role will be essential in building an integrated, cross-functional digital marketing and web team, working with U.S.-based teams to elevate Deloitte Consulting's digital strategy and boost Deloitte Digital's presence as a leader in the industry. Your skills in creating compelling content, editing, and technology know-how will be key to your success. What you'll do (Responsibilities) * Work with digital team, communications team, and leadership to developcontent strategy based on marketing goals * Assist with persona development,content audits, tracking performance, and general advisement throughout the content lifecycle * Work with marketing teams to create and maintain DD.comcontent calendar * Oversee resourcing and compliance of web design assets * Build and publish DD.comcontent in web content management system * Provide editorial oversight and ensure alignment with DD brand * Work closely with internal clients as needed to bring their vision to life via copy that's engaging, on-brand, and low-risk * Manage project timelines * Work with leadership to create global DD.com messaging for website * Work with creative team to optimize web pages for user experience, visual appeal, technical feasibility, andcontent hierarchy * Conduct user acceptance testing on web development projects as necessary * Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to create cohesive messaging across all DD channels (both internal and external) * Work with technical support team to report and troubleshoot technical issues, as necessary Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, PR, communications, journalism, or related field * 5-8+ years' experience incontent writing/marketing/advertising/technology/PR * Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Experience withcontent management systems (AEM preferred) Preferred Skills & Attributes: * Strong writing, storytelling, and message creation abilities * Ability to take complex information and transform it into a clear, concise, well-organizedcontent * Strong design sensibility/familiarity with design apps * Technical knowledge and experience working with website production * Self-starter who can work autonomously while collaborating with dispersed corporate marketing and technology teams * Collaborative problem solver, flexible, motivated, and energetic * Project and time-management expertise, with a focus on detail and meeting deadlines * Persistence with a side of flexibility * Must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment * Strong familiarity with SEO best practices Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. #NO22 #CMO22 How you'll grow At Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
