Provides leadership to deliver three key objectives:
Rapid learning driving maximum velocity to get new designs running in the labs. Increase learning velocity on new designs.
Rapid Commercialization Document, test, train and build high quality pilot production systems.
Full commercialization Seamless transition from pilot to volume manufacturing with increased capacity and cost efficiency and continued high quality.
Leads the global NPI Operations function for all Silicon product groups.
Provides executive leadership in the strategic planning, preparation, execution and continuous improvement of all NPI Operations responsibilities for business units to include product reviews, NPI materials, Manufacturing Engineering and product transitions to the factory.
Provides the critical interface with business unit executives to ensure the NPI Operations function meets and supports their strategic roadmaps and achieves their key operational performance metrics to include: product readiness for manufacturing, cost targets to include attainment of financial revenue and gross margin targets (Material Cost of Sales, Period/Burden/Variance costs), and product quality
Drives maximum velocity to get new designs running in the lab and help increase learning velocity on new designs.
Drives rapid commercialization through rapid and high quality pilot production builds.
Drive full commercialization through better sourcing decision, documentation, proven designs, DFx etc from pilot to volume manufacturing .
Accountable to drive improvements in cost, quality, manufacturing readiness in support of the business units.
Responsible for providing cross functional leadership in support of developing organizational structures capable of executing distributed manufacturing operations.
Responsible for ensuring preparedness and support of business unit new product and enhanced product commercialization plans through the global supply base (R&D support and New Product Introduction support).
Responsible for developing and leading a continuous improvement culture through systemic tools and methodologies to improve quality and EH&S, enhance lead time responsiveness and strengthen cash management (inventory) while driving agility initiatives to anticipate cyclical industry inflection points
Provides team leadership and strategies to enhance productivity, employee development and morale
