Provides leadership to deliver three key objectives:

  • Rapid learning driving maximum velocity to get new designs running in the labs. Increase learning velocity on new designs.

  • Rapid Commercialization Document, test, train and build high quality pilot production systems.

  • Full commercialization Seamless transition from pilot to volume manufacturing with increased capacity and cost efficiency and continued high quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the global NPI Operations function for all Silicon product groups.

  • Provides executive leadership in the strategic planning, preparation, execution and continuous improvement of all NPI Operations responsibilities for business units to include product reviews, NPI materials, Manufacturing Engineering and product transitions to the factory.

  • Provides the critical interface with business unit executives to ensure the NPI Operations function meets and supports their strategic roadmaps and achieves their key operational performance metrics to include: product readiness for manufacturing, cost targets to include attainment of financial revenue and gross margin targets (Material Cost of Sales, Period/Burden/Variance costs), and product quality

  • Drives maximum velocity to get new designs running in the lab and help increase learning velocity on new designs.

  • Drives rapid commercialization through rapid and high quality pilot production builds.

  • Drive full commercialization through better sourcing decision, documentation, proven designs, DFx etc from pilot to volume manufacturing .

  • Accountable to drive improvements in cost, quality, manufacturing readiness in support of the business units.

  • Responsible for providing cross functional leadership in support of developing organizational structures capable of executing distributed manufacturing operations.

  • Responsible for ensuring preparedness and support of business unit new product and enhanced product commercialization plans through the global supply base (R&D support and New Product Introduction support).

  • Responsible for developing and leading a continuous improvement culture through systemic tools and methodologies to improve quality and EH&S, enhance lead time responsiveness and strengthen cash management (inventory) while driving agility initiatives to anticipate cyclical industry inflection points

  • Provides team leadership and strategies to enhance productivity, employee development and morale

Key Responsibilities The NPI Networking Services Program Manager leads the planning & implementation of Service capabilities tied to Networking product launches. A successful candidate will: * Represent Services extended teams and their organizational requirements of the offer/capability at the core team level * Drive the creation, review and approval of the Service Functional Plan * Manage each assigned program to successful launch and global service readiness with no major development of post-launch service issues. * Establish clear objectives and deliverables for the program that support the overall Services Goals and Initiatives (Rev Gen, Warranty Cost, and/or NPS). * Establish and ensure compliance and governance of program KPI/goals and objectives through data and reporting through the offer/products lifecycle * Manage major risks and issues through effective contingency plans and proper escalation. * Employ program management methodologies to identify and drive initiatives that directly support the strategic objectives of Service Leadership, Services Customer Experience, and Warranty Cost Reduction. * Will require some evening and/or early morning international conference calls. Little to no travel anticipated. Essential Requirements The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capability to handle multiple programs in a fast-paced environment and the following: * Relevant experience in the areas of services delivery and operations, program management, and customer relations. * Knowledge of product/offer fundamentals and competitive industry, marketplace. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to develop and present information to individuals, managers, and executives. * Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment. * Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment. * Ability to build effective global cross-functional teams throughout Amer, EMEA, and APJ. * Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in lieu of education required. Typically 10-12 total years of relevant work experience required.
