Managing Director, Product Manager - Loans

Locations: Dallas, TX | Hybrid

The Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of a product or product line. This role spans many types of activities, from strategic to tactical. A Product Manager provides cross-functional leadership and bridges organizational gaps between different functional groups, most often between engineering, marketing, sales, and support.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Create product strategy and business requirement for new Loans features or products.

• Devise strategy to combine businesses & technology across Loan asset classes.

• Responsible for the overall Loan product vision and continuous improvement of features and/or products

• Lead and obtain strategic buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.

• Communicate key messages and engage with many diverse functional stakeholders through the Loan product lifecycle.

• Ensure that the Loan strategy is integrated to the overall SS&C GlobeOp business direction.

• Actively seek customer and market input and data as a source of product innovation

• Act as the SME during initial roll-out and provide support when needed.

• Responsible for continuous improvement of product post-commercialization

• Represent SS&C at industry forums and ensure that SS&C's strategy is aligned to Industry best practices

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing or similar field of study

• 20+ years working with loan products and platforms

• Experienced in working with cross functional teams at a project level

• Some programming and/or technical application experience preferred.

• Familiarity with financial related systems is a plus

• Articulate business and industry requirements, and then translate and document into technical terms for IT focused teams (both verbal and written).
