The Off Shift Manager will be directly reponsible for P&I Manufacturing Operations with coverage split between 2nd and 3rd shifts (7:00 PM to 3:30 AM).
Manages colleagues who are engaged in the production of the Inspection and Packaging operations at the Westport location. Oversees supervisors and operational units in manufacturing across shifts.
Responsible for issue resolution and escalation, when required, to ensure business continuity of all Westport operations during the offshift.
These activities are to be in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines and federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations. Responsible for operational, quality, environmental, and safety incident investigations.
Hourly colleagues are a unionized workforce. Responsible for controlling unit operating expenses. Responsible for cooperatively establishing internal P&I priorities and assuring the unit manufactures budgeted volumes with appropriate resources. This position is responsible for colleague development and performance management, including timely performance feedback and appraisal.

Education & Experience: 7+ years with Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years with Master's Degree in an accredited program in a relevant Engineering or science discipline. Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
