Supplemental Staffing Network, Minimum BSN. Master's degree preferred. -

This position will support LLUSS's strategic plan and the organization's mission to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ, while embracing the core values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Wholeness. The Manager-Staffing Network provides administrative, human resource and financial management for designated area(s) that provide clinical and non-clinical supplemental staffing to entities under Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) system, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week including weekends and holidays.

Participates in the development of a supplemental staffing strategic plan that aligns department goals and objectives with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Ensures areas of responsibility comply with applicable federal and state regulatory requirements. Mentors and coaches staff in transforming culture, processes and clinical practice that meets the demands of cutting-edge health care delivery and nursing excellence.

Collaborates with the central staffing office and other decentralized staffing departments to coordinate staffing needs. Assists Director to develop, implement and maintain a department-specific performance improvement program that addresses supply and demand of a large health system with fluctuating and complex staffing needs utilizing tools such as the Six Sigma framework of define, measure, analyze, implement, and control. Makes rounds and networks with departments needing SSN services.

Utilizes exemplary interpersonal skills and cooperates harmoniously with others at all levels. Participates in on call rotation for designated area(s) as necessary. Performs other duties as needed.

Specifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, or, Associate's Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field and a Master's Degree in Nursing required.

Minimum of three years nursing experience which has provided opportunity to demonstrate competencies in clinical nursing, leadership, administration, education and/or staff development required.

Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred. Active California Registered Nurse Licensure required.

Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association required. Valid Driver's License required at time of hire.

Education/Experience: * Must have at least 4-6 years supervisory experience in provider relations, more experience preferred * Ability to work with all levels of management * Advanced knowledge of contracting principles/tools and various managed care reimbursement methodologies * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proficient in MS Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Power Point) * Must be able to travel within service area and have valid driver's license and insurance Lakeside Medical San Bernardino CA
