Responsible for the overall operation of OneCentral and the cashiering functions of the University. OneCentral is a one stop student information center that provides students with answers to all their administrative issues and also serves as a primary student retention group related to resolving past due balances.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferably in a business related field, leadership or customer service.
Four years experience of a qualifying nature in supervising a complex function, leadership, customer service and working with computerized systems and PC software applications.
Effective customer services skills.
Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive image.
Ability to perform the essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with SAP systems/software.
Experience managing a business or receivable accounting function.
Collections experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Supervises a number of employees including hiring, discipline, dismissal, training and development and annual performance evaluations.
Coordinates events/ programs with other student service offices.
Manages account disputes, explaining and making exception to the institutional and departmental policies for students.
Recommends, documents and implements new policies, procedures and internal controls in the student accounts and Cashiers Office, with special emphasis on new processes which will improve customer service.
Investigates student account errors, review of Business Credit Card cash advance program and account reconciliations.
Responsible for safety and security of staff and assets which include knowledge of security and alarm procedures.
Opens and closes of the office, vault and safes.
Manages offices keys.
