We are looking for a Manager or Director (depending on your experience) of Corporate Development to join the Corporate Development team to be based in either Los Angeles or New York. The Manager/Director will play an important role in driving forward various high-impact projects across functions and businesses throughout FOX. With a flexible project mix and insight into decision-making at the highest levels, you will be positioned to develop a deep knowledge of the industry as well as a vast, enduring skill set.
The Corporate Development team works cross-functionally alongside Senior Executives and Divisional Management to analyze a broad range of financial, strategic, operational, and competitive opportunities across the Media and Entertainment landscape. This small team plays a key role in forging FOX's path forward, executing more than $100 billion of strategic transactions in 2019.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, summarize and share business insights and trends by tracking FOX peer group performance and broader industry developments
Participate in due diligence and transaction structuring of potential investments, joint ventures, and acquisitions
Support FOX operating units with financial analysis and evaluation of growth initiatives and new business launches
Create presentations for our executive stakeholders to facilitate discussion of corporate opportunities and other business initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional operating teams across the Company, including, distribution, ad sales, legal, financial reporting, accounting, tax, and investor relations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor's degree with a strong record of academic achievement
At least two years of experience performing strategic, operational, and/or financial analysis within a Corporate, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or Research role
Experience in Media and Entertainment or a related industry is preferred
Self-starter with a mature, positive and team-oriented attitude
An entrepreneurial mindset, natural curiosity, thoughtful approach, and problem-solving mentality
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial and strategic issues and communicate findings to Senior Executives, both in writing and verbally
Track record of delivering quality results on an individual level and in teams while managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
