Job Summary

The Optimum Business Manager of Web Technology will oversee digital architecture, integration needs, and IT project pipelines for the purposes of driving growth across a variety of sales channels including online and offline. This role will serve as a key technology leader within our company, helping to champion a "digital first" planning culture, and guiding corporate efforts to further adopt digital technologies as a core part of our sales and marketing operations. They are tasked with increasing ecommerce sales metrics and managing the digital relationship with existing subscribers across the customer lifecycle.

This is a position that requires a seasoned professional who will orchestrate all digital activities across sales, marketing, operations, and care. This role will be primarily responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of Optimum Business' web technology stack including CMS, TMS, analytics, and integrations with media or internal CRM/BSS/OSS platforms. This individual will help define the overall B2B organization's digital strategy while effectively handing multiple projects with competing priorities by maintaining deadlines. The Manager of Web Technology will oversee IT project pipelines, working with a mix of internal teams and external agencies to define requirements, responsibilities, deliverables, and associated timelines to accomplish set goals. They must possess thorough knowledge of project management software and creating user stories as well as building and presenting budget plans to management. Creating a clear timeline of both short-term and long-term initiatives is critical to succeeding in this role.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge and experience with web development, hosting and domain management, database management, identity management, marketing automation, tag management, and multi-channel marketing campaigns. Architecture design and documentation are critical responsibilities, and they must lead strategic efforts with broad dependencies from a variety of departments and committees. The successful candidate will have command of best practices and trends in lead generation and e-commerce and understand how to build integrated systems to enable a more dynamic, data driven customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain web applications and functionalities from the ground up

• Manage development of optimumbusiness.com (optimum.com/business)

• Share managerial development of business.optimum.net and myfiberportal.com with cross-functional support and operations teams

• Manage integrations with 3rd party platforms including Amdocs, Netcracker, Zendesk, Salesforce, TeamSupport, and others

• Manage website data layer and tag management for dynamic content, analytics, and media optimizations utilizing Adobe Marketing Platform

• Manage project and technical requirement documentation for supporting IT groups, agencies, and other 3rd party partners

• Implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity.

• Monitor and report on regular tests/updates

• Responsible for competitive analysis of digital platform strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.

• Masters/MBA desirable

• Direct experience in managing development teams, agencies, and technology vendors, etc.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in web development

• In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) and back-end development (server-side languages, frameworks)

• Experience with Drupal, Adobe AEM, or other CMS platforms required

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) required

• Experience reading and utilizing API documentation

• Experience optimizing a personalization-focused web experience: A/B testing, dynamic creative testing, multivariate testing, usability testing, and site behavior/path analysis

• Extensive knowledge of data analytics for web and digital media required

• Technical certifications desirable

• Ability to produce clear, compelling, and motivational communications quickly

• Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to think and act strategically and proactively

• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00 - $168,912.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
