Vertiv is currently looking to add a Warehouse Manager to our Anderson, SC team. We look for people who are 100% team-oriented, self-driven, and technically proficient. We are building a team of motivated and detail-oriented people who will produce a quality product for some of the world's most prestigious clients.
Responsible for the performance management of warehouse operations at Vertiv. Sets and measures performance metrics with internal and third-party warehousing partners. The Warehouse Manager sets a continuous Improvement plan with the leaders at each Vertiv Warehouse to improve performance and efficiency. This person provides thought leadership, engineering, best practices, and Lean / Six Sigma expertise to standardize and enhance the execution of inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sets performance goals for the operations and communicates with each team member how their responsibilities are integrated into the success of the team
Supervise multiple warehouse locations
Work with warehouse supervisors to define and measure metrics that align with Vertiv's goals
Analyze and improve performance vs the performance metrics
Conduct regular control point meetings to review performance and project progress with each Vertiv inbound and outbound warehouse facility
Work with the Information Technology Team as the "Business Owner" of the technology portfolio for warehouse operations, including Warehouse Management System, Radio Frequency guided technology, automation, etc.
Manages a portfolio of improvement projects, including efforts to advocate on behalf of warehouse operations with partner functions
Lead lean, cost savings, and continuous improvement projects related to shipping, space optimization, materials handling, and storage
Organizes annual inventory audit.
Collaborates with Inventory Control Supervisor to ensure policies and procedures according to Vertiv Inventory practices

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field or equivalent work experience in logistics
A college degree in industrial engineering, logistics management, supply chain, or operations management or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Lean and Six Sigma experience with Black Belt credentials preferred
Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
IFS experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and interact effectively with personnel to accomplish tasks
Must be action-oriented with an eye for finding opportunities and solving problems
Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
In-depth knowledge of modern warehousing and inventory practices
English language skills required, and Spanish language is a plus
