Manager: Corporate Real Estate Technology

As aManager in Real Estate Technology, you will lead and deliver large, complexclient engagements that identify, design, and implement corporate real estatetechnology solutions, including Integrated Workplace Management Solutions (IWMS)such as IBM TRIRIGA, Trimble Manhattan and Archibus. In addition, you willwork with Enterprise Asset Management platforms, such as IBM Maximo,

Manager-levelresponsibilities include: defining and documenting key client business issues,understanding where and how real estate technology can be leveraged to addresssuch business issues, and developing recommendations for the client in thecontext of the overall strategy, system selection or system implementation.You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables,effectively manage the functional and technical team, support functional tracksof the system implementation and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptionalperformance. Managers also participate in the development andpresentation of proposals for business development activities.

At the

Manager level, we are looking for individuals with experience in:

  • Real estate technologystrategy development (including business case development andimplementation roadmap design)

  • Real estate technologyvendor selection or solution evaluation

  • Functional knowledge of IWMSand EAM solutions

  • Technical knowledge ofimplementing and optimizing functionality within specific IWMS systemssuch as SiteSelection, Lease Admin and LeaseAccounting, Transaction Management, Capital Projects, Space Management, and

Facilities / Maintenance Management

  • Leading functional andtechnical teams in the design and implementation of real estate technologysolutions

  • Experience with other technologies to support theoptimization of the corporate real estate function, such as Analytics,Robotic and Cognitive Process Automation and Smart Building technologies.

Qualifications

ManagerQualifications

Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree and8-10+ years of management consulting and/or industry experiencein corporate real estate and facilities management is required.

  • At least 6-8 years ofexperience managing large technology IWMS engagements

  • A minimum of 4 full lifecycle implementations

  • Experience dealing withlarge, complex real estate portfolios and organizations.

  • A proven track record ofsuccessfully delivering professional services.

  • Strong problem solving,analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong oral and writtencommunication skills.

  • The ability to travel up to80-100%.

Preferred:

  • An advanced degree in realestate or related field

  • Strong presentation skillsand an effective management presence

  • Eagerness to mentor andcounsel junior staff

  • Experience and understandingwith robotic process automation, including vendors such as Blue Prism,Automation Anywhere, etc.

  • Familiarity with informationtechnologies and platforms: such as legacy ERP, cloud software services,and customer services applications.

  • Experience with analytics toevaluate and optimize business processes

We are seeking an Originator to contribute to the continuing success of our Healthcare Real Estate/Multifamily platform. Capital One is active in all aspects of the commercial real estate arena with extensive experience in permanent and construction loans for a broad range of projects including multifamily housing, retail, office buildings, student housing, industrial and parking facilities. Our Multifamily Finance Team is a part of Capital One's broader Commercial Real Estate Business (CRE) and in addition to generating loans for our balance sheet, is one of the largest originators of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA loans. The Originator will be responsible for originating a satisfactory volume of loans meeting Capital One's underwriting criteria. They will also be responsible for establishing a market presence and for the development and maintenance of a referral network that generates a pipeline of new loan clients and for pursuing and closing those prospective clients. The Originator will work closely with the Healthcare Real Estate team in identifying and developing new customer relationships as well as servicing existing clients.
