This position is responsible for….

The Manager, Treasury is responsible for cash management and forecasting, treasury operations, managing relationships with financial institutions, and managing foreign exchange currency exposures. S/he will manage at least one Staff Accountant and Accounts Payable Manager. S/he will also perform analysis for management and provide deliverables to third parties, such as liquidity reporting to lenders.

Your day will be very busy… you will:

  • Manages cash management including daily management of cash releases and optimizing cash balances to ensure adequate liquidity.

  • Leads management of banking facilities, including working with banking partners on appropriate structures and identifying opportunities to reduce banking related charges and fees.

  • Performs monthly close duties including preparing and reviewing standard and ad hoc journal entries related to assigned areas of responsibility, which could include Cash and Accounts Payable.

  • Prepares and reviews accurate general ledger account reconciliations and ensures that open items are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Maintains both the short-term and long-term cash forecasting model by collaborating cross-functionally and reviewing and understanding weekly variances to drive business engagement.

  • Understands the financial market dynamics of the business, covering FX (Foreign Exchange) and interest rate exposure.

  • Assists with the annual external audit by preparing and reviewing workpapers and pulling selections and requests.

  • Protects company assets, requiring an understanding of best practices related to Treasury.

  • Drives system improvements to cash application, reconciliation, and accounts payable functions to allow for scalability in volume.

  • Leadership responsibilities include the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; performs administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration and other matters related to employment.

  • Assesses staff and provides timely and consistent feedback regarding technical proficiency and effectiveness. Provides constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement to employees regarding job performance. Works with staff to identify work goals and create individual development plans. Evaluates training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.

  • Completes special projects as needed which may include M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) integration.

  • Maintains related files and records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Takes accountability to demonstrate the organization's Cultural Beliefs and achieving desired results. Performance is aligned with the Culture of Accountability.

What your background will be:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.

  • Active CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years Treasury or Accounting experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience is required.

  • Knowledge of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance is highly preferred.

  • 2+ years of people management experience is required.

  • Strong analytical and technical skills are required.

  • Strong computerized accounting skills and advanced spreadsheet skills; proficiency in the use of Oracle or similar ERP system is required.

Salary Range

$129,000 - $148,000
