We are looking for a strong people manager to lead a team of training specialist. Training specialists, are an end-to-end owner for developing and delivering training content to educate the advertising sales team in various ad products, tools, professional development, and team/organizational culture. The manager role will be responsible leading the team that will prioritize training needs and content out of the core training programs, and scaling training globally through the team, which will be based in Seattle, NYC, London, Munich, and Tokyo. The training specialist plays a key role in scaling the sales teams' knowledge in our advertising products and business, and consistently measures training effectiveness to iterate on and improve training we create and deliver. As the team manager, it is imperative this person can establish a clear vision, effectively manage and support remote individuals, and provide cohesive training while accounting for localized needs.
In this role you will manage, set strategy, and define success for a globally-dispersed team that:
Delivers in-person and virtual training sessions to sales teams
Becomes a subject matter expert on Amazon advertising products
Supports new product release trainings
Creates and refines training content and presentations based on audience needs
Expands training programs and content delivered in the U.S. to the local regions, including localization of materials and delivery
Manages logistics for training delivered, including scheduling conference rooms, meeting requests, and ordering catering
Masters training software and learning systems to deliver training and report on training effectiveness, iterating on content and delivery as needed
Understands and acts on local training and development needs
