In this role, you have the opportunity to design and implement market competitive compensation and benefit programs to assist with attraction and retention. You will ensure that the Company's compensation and benefits offerings are run in the most efficient manner. This includes the Company's annual compensation review for merit and equity and the semi-annual bonus compensation review. In addition, this includes compensation and benefits surveys, the open enrollment for benefits and Wellness initiatives.
You are responsible for the successful design and implementation of market competitive and compelling Compensation, Health & Welfare, Retirement and Mobility programs in both the United States and International locations. Will play an integral part in the establishment of a Total Rewards Center of Excellence and in supporting the establishment of a HR Solutions Center. Manages our Health & Welfare Benefits Consultant, our Retirement Benefits Consultant, and our Mobility consultant. Works closely with the Talent Attraction and Mergers & Acquisitions Departments.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Develop and manage compensation tools, systems and processes for the HR and management teams.
Responsible for the efficient operation of the compensation planning exercise; this involves close interaction the HR Operations Department and ADP.
Serves as a resource for the Talent Attraction Department on the creation of compelling new hire offer packages.
Responsible for ensuring that salary ranges/bonus targets are updated in accordance with market conditions.
Responsible for the submission of data for both compensation and benefits surveys to vendors and prepares analyses for internal use by the Human Resources Business Partners and line management.
Ensures that our Mobility policies are market competitive and works closely with our outside Relocation vendor.
Assist with the development of the Total Rewards philosophy and supporting policies and practices.
Conduct market analysis to recognize key trends.
Research, resolve and address employee's compensation and benefit inquiries; communicate findings and recommendations/resolutions to employees, HR team members and/or leadership.
Analyze internal equity and external competitiveness and make recommendations.
Develop all related communications and administration.
Prepares employee communications related to compensation and benefits.
Analyzes market competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of compensation plans and benefits plans to ensure they optimize the ability to attract and retain talent.
Act as the primary resource for HR and manages in the development of new jobs, job descriptions and pay ranges.
Maintain the company's job and compensation structure and pay ranges.
Manages the relationship with our Health & Welfare and Retirement consultants to ensure the efficient operation of the Benefits function.
Closely interacts with the HR Solutions Center to resolve Tier I, II and III benefits issues.
Reconciles benefits accounts by approving billing statements.
Open Enrollment -- conducts road shows to each site to communicate upcoming year's benefit offerings.
Leads the monthly claims review with Finance.
Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee benefit programs.
MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; obtaining qualified opinions; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Education: BA required; Masters preferred
7+ Years' experience in compensation & benefits (experience with High Deductible Health Plans is preferred)
Must have strong financial/analytical skills and be proficient in Excel
Must have demonstrated experience of working in a high performance team
International compensation and benefits experience is desired
