Manages occupant protection and passenger safety projects related to the Occupant Protection Center at iCube. Assists iCube Directors, Associate Directors, and Managers in the implementation of grant tasks and deliverables outlined in iCube grants. This position will facilitate training for Child Passenger Safety Technicians and Instructors while managing partnerships with businesses, government, and organizations, including (but not limited to) schools, education centers, medical providers, community organizations, and local and state officials, community leaders, and safety and injury prevention and advocacy partners. The Manager is expected to contribute to the mission of the University and iCube projects that include public policy campaigns, university and community collaborations, and public safety programs.

Essential Functions
Manage the implementation and continued logistics of grant deliverables, which involves coordinating between iCube staff, clients, and community members related to occupant protection.
Maintain daily communication with key stakeholders from businesses, government, organizations, campus, and communities for iCube and Occupant Protection Center initiatives.
Training and educating Child Passenger Safety Technicians and Instructors, community partners, safety advocates, and industry leaders both in-state and nationally.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in health, nursing, social work, safety, or related field. One year experience with project management or other leadership role. At least three years of experience with health, safety, or advocacy efforts. Need excellent communication, problem solving, and time management skills. Extensive knowledge of occupant safety and child passenger safety required. Must be competent educator as a Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor.
Preferred Qualifications
Must become familiar with iCube initiatives including those in traffic safety, occupant protection, and health education.
Work Hours
Typical hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. Additional hours as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 9. This is a full-time grant funded position; its continuation is contingent upon future funding. Benefits Information
