Position Summary: The Manager of Technology Controls is responsible for assessing risk management and controls for Technology Infrastructure and Software Development and Testing, and working with the teams to enhance procedures and controls. In addition, this role will collect information and artifacts regarding control execution to support the management of RCSA (Risk & Control Self-Assessment), audits and examinations. The position will identify areas of improvement and provide support to implement enhancements. This role will perform assignments under the guidance of the VP, Risk & Control Client Delivery.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors degree in business or an information technology-related field

  • 5+ years experience in technology in a highly regulated industry

  • Experience in analyzing or managing technical processes such as network, server or mainframe systems administration

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to organize and analyze information

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral

  • Effective interpersonal and influencing abilities

  • Attention to detail and organization

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Support Technology Infrastructure and Software Development teams on all aspects of in-business risk and control

  • Perform RCSA control testing to ensure operational effectiveness of controls

  • Assist in coordinating risk and control information for audits and external reviews

  • Interact with internal audit and regulators regarding technology controls

  • Analyze metrics, help identify areas of improvement and collaborate on the enhancement efforts

  • Track and report on the status of self-identified issues and remediation plans

  • Perform independent process reviews

Physical demands and work environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
