This position manages the technical group responsible for establishing items, recipes and batches for forged and rolled titanium and specialty steel products. Also responsible for related metallurgical items such as qualifications, failure analyses, quotations and certifications.
Manage response to requests for items, recipes and batches, managing daily technical concerns such as DDR's, shipments, and sales questions.
Manage response for Oracle inquiries, SAS records, and MCA records.
Coordinate staffing needs and strategies for streamlining Oracle activities.
Coordinate staffing of qualification programs and approve final reports.
Help coordinate and run failure analyses.
Help manage customer complaints and Problem Solving Reports.
Manage QA activities within group including DDR's, cert problems and order entry problems.
Coordinate and help manage cost savings activities within the group.
Manage KRONOS and HR-related activities within the group.

BS in Metallurgy or Metallurgical / Materials Engineering or a minimum of 10 years related experience.
Ten year minimum experience in aerospace metallurgical processing and specification requirements.
Demonstrated knowledge/expertise of titanium and iron based alloy processing.
Comprehension of the critical nature of the material requirements.
Experience understanding statistical process control.
Experience reading and interpreting customer specifications into actionable process routes.
Ability to utilize CI tools
