Lennox International (LII) is a leading global provider of innovative climate control solutions for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment. The Lennox Learning Solutions team is looking for a Technical Training Manager that ensures World Class training is being created and delivered to our external customers. In this role he/she will develop a strong curriculum, deliver compelling training with hands on experience. This position will set training schedules, develop curriculum and collaborate with intercompany departments to ensure customer needs are met. Additionally, this role will monitor group performance based on approved KPIs and ensure all activity conforms to required standards. This role will report to the Director, Lennox Learning Solutions.
Create and review training needs, administer training plans, procedures and programs to meet internal and external training needs.
Coach, develop and train a team of technical trainers, provide a clear strategy and set clear metrics.
Collaborate with content developers, sales and marketing team to ensure content is created and deployed appropriately meeting critical deadlines.
Responsible for the development, execution and delivery of training material curriculum to technical employees including updating/refreshing outdated material.
Defining, documenting and maintaining training guidelines. Monitor training needs and act swiftly on dynamic trends within the Industry.
Manage contractor relationships, supervising operational and development activities among trainers, and ensure budget goals are met.
Develop lab standards and complete quarterly site reviews and audits as needed to ensure technical labs are within proper standards.
Lead all certification and accreditation pursuits within the Lennox Learning Center.
A minimal bachelor's degree and/or 8 years experience.
5 years of management experience preferred.
APICS or equivalent certification required.
Expert knowledge of a wide range of assigned products and the application of diagnostic techniques and service aids.
Ability to apply learning theories to classroom situations.
Presentation skills using a variety of technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
At least 5 years training experience preferred.
Creative, self-starter and highly motivated individual required.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling priorities and tight deadlines
