We are seeking a Manager of Technical Content for our Austin office. This role is responsible for building and managing a global team of technical writers, to produce high quality product documentation.


  • Direct the work and development of a team of technical writers

  • Oversee publication of release and product documentation along with curation of content in the Support knowledge base

  • Continually evaluate and improve on content strategy

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide tracking and progress of established KPIs

  • Build and effectively lead the team through hiring, training, development, and goal/objective setting

  • Work closely with other cross-functional management teams in marketing, product, and development

  • Execute on appropriate internal and external processes

  • Manage and coordinate other technical content products beyond product documentation


  • Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate a team of technical writers to ensure completion of both short and long term goals and objectives

  • Exceptional writing skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple departments

  • Ability to understand and communicate business concepts

  • Demonstrated ability to discuss technical concepts and make decisions based on feedback from both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in English, Technical Writing, Journalism, Communications, or other writing-intensive course of study

  • Minimum of 2 years experience managing a technical content team

  • Proficiency in leading, motivating and executing with a team of technical writers

  • Proven ability to recruit, train and scale against growth targets

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment

The Technical Training Manager has in‐depth experience in technical product training, curriculum development, instructional design, and adult learning methodology.
