Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As a Tax Technology Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting tax operations and third-party applications at our organization. Your primary objective will be to utilize technology tools and systems to enhance tax processes, optimize efficiency, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure the successful implementation of tax technology solutions.

To excel in this role, you will need a working knowledge of tax operations and a solid understanding of various tax software applications. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential for gathering and analyzing requirements, evaluating data, and identifying opportunities to streamline processes. Additionally, your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders will be crucial in facilitating collaboration and ensuring the successful implementation of tax technology solutions.

Key skills for this role include strong requirements gathering and documentation skills, proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, and an understanding of corporate tax. Experience with tax software implementations and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications will be highly valued.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, accounting, economics, or similar

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role

• Preferred technology tool experience with Vertex, OneSource, Python, Alteryx, PowerBI, SQL, etc.

• Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset

• A curious and hardworking nature, with the ability to connect the dots and think critically.

• Comfortable working with large amounts of data and a strong analytical skillset.

• An ownership mindset, taking responsibility for their tasks and proactively seeking ways to improve.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax

compliance, or related area OR 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or related area.
