Talent Business Advisors focus on shaping the way Talent services are delivered to the Business by partnering with key business decision makers and establishing and maintaining a deep understanding of the business environment, strategy, and people implications.
Work you'll do
Tax Talent Business Advisors work closely with key business leaders to provide Talent consultative solutions tailored to support the execution of strategic priorities for Tax.
Partners with key decision-making business leaders and BA team to craft, execute and drive the delivery of the Talent strategy.
Serves as the single point of contact for all Talent related initiatives and activities within the Tax groups assigned.
Provides strategic and consultative Talent services to business leaders. Identifies and counsels the business on Talent issues that affect the success of the business and articulates how Talent can help drive business performance.
Partners with the business through participation in business planning, performance and operational reviews, and other business alignment and strategic activities. Consults with business leaders on how Talent can help drive business performance.
Maintains a relationship and knowledge of practitioners to more efficiently provide Talent services. Continually assess the strengths and development needs of assigned population (practitioners and the business) to inform recommendations for Talent solutions.
Drives the performance management process and partners with the Performance Management Lead to advise business leadership on promotion readiness, conduct targeted talent reviews, and facilitate a national review of RPM and promotion decisions.
Advises clients on employee relations processes and informs of hand-off to Talent Relations and Compliance departments. Regularly, communicates with business leaders and Talent Relations and Compliance on any issues, escalating as appropriate.
Drives the year-end compensation and bonus processes for the Tax groups assigned.
Serve as a trusted business advisor to Cost Center/Market Circle Leaders and other Partners/leaders
Leveraging the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Core Talent Services (CTS), Business Advisors have increased capacity to deliver deep industry insights and market leading practices that underpin and contribute to the definition and execution of business priorities.
Supports (owns/leads/teams) other Talent processes, projects and performs other job-related duties, as assigned
The Talent Business Advisor organization champions a "One Talent Team" through collaboration with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Core Talent Services (CTS) to deliver integrated Talent services to support Business strategies and priorities.
Bachelor's Degree, 10+ years of Human Resource Management or related experience
Required Technical Skills:
Strong negotiation and conflict resolutions skills ; Proficient Microsoft Office skills; Track record of flexibility and learning agility; Ability to manage multiple complex projects with a virtual team (clients and team members); Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills; identification and resolution of issues effectively and appropriately; Ability to perform complex data analysis including data metrics affecting utilization; Ability to properly handle confidential information

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,070 to $175,080.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
