CBS Network and CBS Studios is seeking a Manager of Talent Relations & Events based in NYC. This role is within the larger Communications team, supporting the studio, network, other NY based teams and partners across Paramount Global. They will report into the VP of Talent Relations & Events.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Events

  • Help plan, budget, and implement special events including awards/FYC events, and other series promotional campaign events, charity events, Comicon, TCA, themed parties, tastemaker events, dinners, festival appearances, various series achievement celebrations, and company town halls

  • Coordinate with PR teams for in-person press junkets and occasional press mailers

  • Help track invitations and RSVPs

  • Help create and track vendor lists

  • Help track and process invoices

Talent Relations

  • Coordinate and track special requests for talent by internal departments/partners/corporate brands and outside requests

  • Gifting: purchase and budget for talent, executive producer and show gifts for special occasions

  • Coordinate ticketing and attendance for executives and talent for major award shows such as Emmy Awards and more

Executive Relations

  • Help support the planning and movement of senior executives at both internal and external special events including but not limited to award shows, charity events, company town halls, show set visits, conferences, and speaking engagements

  • Coordinate travel for execs and/or talent at key events as required

Philanthropy

  • Prioritize, coordinate, and help budget charity requests from internal and external organizations

  • Coordinate and track financial donations gifts

  • Coordinate and execute executive and/or talent presentations and recognitions at charity events

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in event planning and/or talent relations

  • Ability to travel as required for various events and talent or executive appearances

Additional Qualifications:

  • Requires excellent organizational, planning and budgeting skills

  • Ability to manage, plan and collaborate with an inclusive team and large organizational structure

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone

  • Must have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Must have the ability to prioritize and schedule work effectively

  • Must have the ability to work well under pressure and handle numerous projects simultaneously while being flexible in the face of changing priorities and deadlines

  • Proficient Computer skills including MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, keynote and MS Outlook

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $74,400.00 - 105,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
