The Role:

Are you passionate about finding the best talent and creating an environment where people thrive? Are you a fanatic about crafting memorable candidate and employee experiences? If so, you could be the perfect fit for our team as Manager, Talent Management!

This role is ideal for an experienced HR Generalist, Senior Generalist, or HR Manager who has overseen the entire employee lifecycle. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping BGCA's workforce, leading comprehensive talent acquisition efforts, fostering a supportive employee relations environment, and championing human-centered strategies that prioritize employee well-being and organizational growth.

Reporting to the VP of Talent Management & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, you'll collaborate to ensure every individual feels valued and empowered at BGCA. This position offers a path to career growth, perfect for someone eager to transition into a director or VP role in the future. The position is based in Atlanta, and we offer a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays required in the office and the flexibility to work remotely on the other days, ensuring you have the balance you need to thrive both personally and professionally.

Responsibilities

Who You Are:

You are a high-level strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, unafraid to challenge conventional HR practices and continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance the employee experience. Your strong bias for action drives you to make timely decisions and advance projects with urgency and efficiency. With exceptional workload management skills, you effectively juggle multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality.

You possess emotional intelligence, enabling you to recognize and manage your own emotions and those of others, fostering positive interpersonal interactions. Your cultural competence allows you to navigate and appreciate diverse backgrounds, ensuring that BGCA's environment is inclusive and supportive for all.

As a data-driven decision-maker, you analyze and leverage data to inform strategies, assess performance, and drive continuous improvement. Your customer-centric mindset ensures that the needs of both internal and external customers are met, resulting in high levels of satisfaction and engagement.

Adaptability and flexibility are at the core of your approach, allowing you to adjust strategies in response to changing conditions while demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges. You thrive on building trust and relationships, guiding teams, and leading with influence and collaboration.

Human-Centered Talent Strategy:

You will champion people-first principles, looking beyond traditional HR metrics to understand the whole person. Your role will be pivotal in developing and implementing talent strategies that prioritize human-centered approaches, aligning these strategies with company goals while considering the diverse needs and aspirations of our workforce.

By focusing on the individual, you will craft strategies that recognize each employee's unique strengths, experiences, and potential, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. You'll lead efforts to create a workplace that embraces authenticity, encourages collaboration, and nurtures personal and professional growth, ultimately enhancing organizational effectiveness.

With your analytical skills, you'll harness data to tell powerful stories that shape decision-making and strategy. By identifying key performance indicators and monitoring progress, you will use insights to continually refine our talent management efforts. Your commitment to understanding and enhancing the human experience will drive you to create an inclusive workplace where employees are empowered to contribute their best selves.

As a Talent Acquisition Leader, you will:

  • Take the Lead on Talent Acquisition: defining and executing innovative strategies that align with BGCA's strategic goals. You'll oversee the full recruitment cycle, from identifying needs to finalizing hires, ensuring alignment with our organizational objectives. You'll design onboarding experiences that excite and engage new hires from day one, setting them up for success and fostering a sense of belonging.

  • Enhance Candidate Pipelining: building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline for critical roles within BGCA, ensuring a ready pool of candidates to reduce hiring delays.

  • Implement Passive Candidate Strategies: utilizing targeted outreach and strategic marketing to engage and attract passive candidates who are not actively seeking new roles but possess the skills and attributes beneficial to BGCA.

  • Leverage Social Media for Recruiting: utilizing social media platforms extensively to enhance our employer brand and reach a broader audience, crafting engaging content and using advanced targeting techniques to attract diverse talent.

  • Leverage KPIs and Data Analytics for Strategic Recruitment: tracking the effectiveness of our recruitment efforts and metrics (such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction) and refine recruitment strategies.

As an Employee Relations Leader, you will:

  • Be a Trusted Confidant and Resource: serve as a primary contact and reliable advisor for both employees and leaders, reinforcing a culture of trust and respect.

  • Employee Experience: foster a positive employee experience through fair resolution of issues, collaborating closely with the VP of Talent Management & DEI.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Manage compliance, risk, and employee relations metrics, overseeing compliance with employment laws and regulations.
