Who You Are:

A seasoned, highly detail-oriented, flexible, and personable Manager, Talent Acquisition looking to join our agile and collaborative People team in either our Bay Area, CA or Austin, TX office.

Ideal candidates should have previous experience with Workable (our Applicant Tracking System), advanced global sourcing abilities, high touch scheduling skills, ability to negotiate competitive offers, experience with job description creation and standardization, passion for Diversity & Inclusion in recruiting and Internship Programs. This is a discipline building role that will have a lot of autonomy and potential to influence.

Candidates should also understand the global market in terms of competition, agency culture, and evolving skillsets within the media world. They have the desire to get involved with the nitty-gritty while always keeping the bigger picture in view. Currently, this role will be the only internal Talent Acquisition position for the global organization, requiring complete lifecycle experience in multiple time zones and a willingness to wear many hats.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will act as the face of Just Global for all candidates, demonstrating a positive reflection or our brand and company at every step. Design, create and direct our hiring initiatives to find top talent for our quickly growing organization with locations in Bay Area, CA, Austin, TX, North Carolina, Singapore, Sydney, Australia, and the UK.

You will also be responsible for improving the hiring process's efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring an excellent candidate experience at every step of the interview process, and serving as a valuable brand ambassador.

  • Drive all full life cycle recruitment efforts and processes, including sourcing, scheduling, standardizing job postings, background checks, references, negotiating, drafting and delivering offers, and communicating with teams and candidates on current status and next steps
  • Implement strategic hiring procedures and improve upon recruitment measures
  • Proactively work with hiring managers to confirm hiring needs and requirements
  • Coordinate with Finance to confirm that all open requisitions are approved and budgeted for
  • Direct and oversee the hiring of upper management and executives in conjunction with outside agency support as needed
  • Create and train hiring managers on new and effective interviewing procedures and techniques
  • Partner with our Manager, People Operations on University Relations and Internship program
  • Partner with our Manager, People Operations on Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Document and present detailed weekly progress reports of recruiting campaigns to the SVP, Head of People
  • Schedule and shepherd the interview process for all candidates to ensure an incredible candidate experience
  • Conduct and request required tests needed for hire (proficiency, background, etc.)
  • Set clear goals and benchmarks for recruitment success
  • Encourage open lines of communication between yourself and the rest of the team
  • Attend recruiting fairs to find prospective employees (sometimes on evenings and weekends)
  • Adherence to fair employment laws and practices

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of proven experience in recruitment, preferably in media
  • A progressive world view on Talent Acquisition best practices
  • Ability to navigate virtual interviews from a tech and etiquette standpoint
  • Familiarity with HR practices
  • Understanding of fair employment practices
