Primary Purpose of Position:

NSCH is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager, Talent Acquisition and Credentialing to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee and set the strategic vision for both the talent acquisition and credentialing functions, leading a team of professionals to attract top talent to our organization and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and lead the talent acquisition and credentialing teams, providing direction, support, and mentorship to staff members.

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for talent acquisition that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates for clinical and non-clinical positions.

  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Utilize a variety of recruitment methods and tools, including social media, job boards, networking, and employee referrals, to identify and engage top talent.

  • Participate in external events such as job fairs, industry conferences, and networking events to promote our employer brand and expand our talent network.

  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including universities, professional organizations, and community groups, to support recruitment efforts.

  • Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment plans to meet organizational objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to credentialing and privileging processes.

  • Lead the credentialing and privileging of healthcare providers, including initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and ongoing monitoring.

  • Collaborate with HR and clinical leadership to streamline the onboarding process for new providers and staff.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on talent acquisition and credentialing best practices, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.

  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to talent acquisition and credentialing.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Attend periodic staff meetings and training sessions.

  • Compile proper paperwork procedures, prompt follow-up communications, and departmental policies.

Requirements

  • · Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. · Minimum of five years of experience in talent acquisition and/or credentialing, with at least three years in a managerial role.· Experience managing different HR functions, preferably in a health care and/or community health center environment.· Demonstrated expertise in employer-branding, recruitment strategies, candidate sourcing, selection methodologies, and creating effective onboarding programs.· Demonstrated experience participating in external events such as job fairs, career expos, and industry conferences.· Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).· Knowledge of credentialing processes, regulations, and standards (e.g., Joint Commission, NCQA).

  • Knowledge of credentialing processes, regulations, and standards.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in using credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/credentialing software.

  • Ability to work from Salem Administration office two to three times per week
