We are growing rapidly with an active research and discovery pipeline across both therapeutic areas. Agios has two approved oncology precision medicines and multiple first-in-class investigational therapies in clinical and/or preclinical development.

Agios Pharmaceuticals is searching for a dynamic Recruiting Manager to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. The Recruiting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent to sustain and contribute to Agios' culture and long term success. This is an individual contributor role, focused on hiring for our Commercial and G&A teams, but will provide support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process from kick-off to close, partnering closely with hiring manager and HR colleagues

  • Create and execute a recruitment strategy, which results in a top-tier, qualified talent pool of professionals and a strong candidate pipeline

  • Influence talent decisions by applying acute knowledge of the organization and deep expertise in the external market

  • Drive sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies for each requisition

  • Aid in establishing a recognizable "employer of choice" reputation for the company, internally and externally

  • Partner with hiring manager to develop thoughtful interview loops providing training as required

  • Provide weekly updates to HR leader and hiring managers

  • Proactively look for innovative ways to implement, revise, and / or update recruitment process and tools

  • Perform other special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of recruiting, sourcing, and full cycle recruiting experience

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmaceutical/Biotech/High tech industry experience desired

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix organization highly collaborative and team oriented

  • Superior selection skills and a high level of proficiency in assessing talent

  • Proven ability cultivating successful relationships internally and externally

  • Strong listening, facilitation, influence and communications skills

  • Sharp time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task; adaptable in style and in working with different functions
